Action | Regulations for Licensure of Abortion Facilities |

These regulations are to reduce acess to abortion, not health standards at clinics.
Legislators must support access to abortion and oppose these regulations.
If all these regulations pass, then 2/3 of the clinics in Viginia that provide safe abortions will have to close, because they do not have the financial ability to put these unnecessary additions into place (and which really do not add to safety of the clinics). These regulations are only for abortion clinics....not for any other outpatient surgical clinics. Facts are that 1 out of 3 women will have an abortion in their lifetime....the procedure has to be kept legal and safe. Women's decisions about their reproductive life should be their private choices, not decided by outside interference.
