Any facility that provides a surgical procedure in an outpatient clinic should be regulated by the same standards as all other surgical outpatient clinics. If abortion centers want to provide surgical procedures then they should have to follow these regulations. As a nurse I find it appalling and very scary that any medical surgical clinic would not be required to do such. My concern is, why haven’t abortion clinics had to do this in the past? This isn’t about being pro-life or pro-abortion. It is about providing standard of care.
