Action | Regulations for Licensure of Abortion Facilities |

This entire exercise is based upon the religious beliefs of the few. If these clinics are going to be regulated, then so should those offices where dental surgeries are performed, where any kind of dermatological procedures are performed, where any kind of plastic surgery is performed-- regulate them all the same. Should that idea "catch on" then I strongly suggest that those currently operating legally be grandfathered in as well as any of those whose permits have been issued. This regulation is really aimed at trying to stop abortions -- it has nothing to do with the health, well being, or safety of women. It is all about humiliation and making these procedures more expensive and more difficult-- nothing to do with access to good health care.
