protect women's health

I believe that pregnancy is not a disease and that abortion is not healthcare. There are always at least two victims in an abortion.  The baby who dies and the mother who will be physically, emotionally and mentally scared. Common sense regulations should at least require what we already require for Veterinary clinics for our pets. Too often women have suffered ireperable harm or death because a clinic did not maintain adequate safety or sanitary procedures. Acess for an ambulance strecher is a reasonable requirement not a make work program.

Hospitals reguarly charge $750 for an abortion procedure after a miscarriage.  They justify the cost that is twice that of a clinic's procedure because of the safety and cleanliness of a hospital environment. No woman should have to suffer from infection caused by unsafe facilities.
