Of course regulations are needed!

It is astonishing to me that these regulations similar to that of any other healthcare provider were not in place all along!! How can anyone agree that an invasive procedure like abortion, that puts the health of the mother at risk and always kills a child, should not be required to meet the same requirements that even dental offices adhere to?  And the mental health of the mother almost always suffers long after she aborts her child, so an ultrasound should be absolutely necessary and required.  Also the procedure should be explained in detail, especially with late term abortions that involve the head of the baby being cut off prior to delivery. This is barbaric and disgusting.  What was meant to be a rare practice is now widely used as  birth control and it is morally and ethically unacceptable.
