The argument presented is that vaccination would provide a safe environment without worry of COVID infection so that children can attend school as usual.  This argument is a fallacy.  I empathize and understand the desire to get back to normal.  We all want to get back to normal!  However, many individuals getting infected with the virus are in fact vaccinated which strongly suggests vaccines alone are not the answer.  According to studies conducted in Israel, natural immunity works better than vaccination.  It shows that natural immunity (immunity presented in the body after contracting the virus) gives 95-99% protection from reinfection.  This brings the question to mind, are vaccine mandates really needed if so many people have already contracted the virus and have natural immunity?  I think not.  The FDA and CDC are promoting data that does not align with science and unfortunately people are buying into the fear presented in the media.  Healthcare should be at the discretion of the individual, not the government.

Furthermore, to mandate a vaccine or masks is in direct opposition of the freedoms our forefathers bled and died for and I'm not willing to give those up!  It should remain up to the individual to choose.  We have all been impacted by this virus and should respect one another's rights to choose how to respond.  To force others into a mold that is not consistent with their convictions is tyrannical.  We have all been born with freewill and the right to choose.  These are God given rights and the reason our forefathers were willing to lay down their lives.

The only way to get back to normal is to get back to normal.  Will COVID go away some time soon, likely not, vaccination or no vaccination, mask or no mask.  We do not need government intervention as it will not change the circumstances at hand!  

Please respect my right to choose what is best for me and my family.  It's my God given responsibility to look out for the health and well being of each one and I do not welcome the intervention of those who seek to enforce their ideologies or political doctrine on our lives.
