Opposition to Regulation - Virginians Have A Right To Bear Arms

Dear Govenor:

Your proposed regulation is a slap in every Virginians face and contradicts our RIGHTS guaranteed by the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution.  Moreover, it puts good law abiding citizens in harms way and does nothing to deter terrorists or criminals.  In fact, statistics prove that this type of regulation empowers the criminal and leaves good citizens at a disadvantage.  Disarming good citizens does not make them safer.

Your duty and responsibility as Governor is not to promote your own personal agenda.  You have a responsibility to the citizens of the Commonwealth to abide by the Constitution.  This "emergency" regulation, clearly not based on any type of emergency, must be withdrawn.  Law abiding citizens of this Commonwealth can no longer be fooled by a government who clearly has failed at every turn.   Case in point is this very regulation for which you clearly have NO authority to impose on the citizenry of Virginia.   Please stop wasting our tax dollars on nonsense and start doing your job within the authority that has been given you!

This regulations should not be approved and the emergency regulation withdrawn.

Please extended the comment period for another 30 days.

Sincerely,

Moni Henderson
