The  Northampton Board of Supervisors Resolution of Jan 9th, 2024, to stop the menhaden harvesting in the Chesapeake Bay and within 3 miles of the Commonwealth Atlantic shoreline has been presented to VMRC. This resolution represents the entire population of NORTHAMPTON COUNTY where most of the harvesting directly affects us negatively as noted in the Resolution. I urge you to comply with the Resolution’s request as you move forward considering this problem, created by a few, whose actions are detrimental to thousands of Virginia citizens!
