Description This regulation provides that a child who meets the criteria of a dependent child may not be denied assistance provided through the Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC) Program solely on the basis of the child being emancipated either by court order or marriage. This regulation specifies which children are to be included in the assistance unit for purposes of establishing eligibility in AFDC.
