| Goals of Regulation |
VDOT seeks public comment regarding the following question: 1. Does the regulation meet the following goals? - To ensure that VDOT complies with applicable federal and state statutes and regulations concerning public hearings for road projects; - To comply with federal and state statutory and procedural requirements concerning public participation for highway construction projects; and - To protect the public's health, safety, and welfare with the least possible intrusiveness to the citizens and businesses of the Commonwealth. 2.
