A new Virginia Water Protection (VWP) general permit regulation to serve the role historically filled by federal Nationwide Permits for projects that have no more than minimal adverse environmental impacts to state waters, providing a streamlined, predictable permitting pathway for activities with minimal impacts that provides continued protection of state waters.
