Description A regulation that establishes: (1) the requirement for a person to have a permit from the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services before he may test milk for its fat, protein, or lactose content, if the test results are used as the basis for payment; (2) the method for calibrating automated testing instruments used to determine the fat content of milk; (3) and that records on the accuracy of fat-testing equipment be maintained for 12 months from the date they are created.
