| Action Summary |
Chapter 594 of the 2017 Acts of Assembly amended the requirements for transacting business in Virginia under an assumed or fictitious name in ยง 59.1-69 of the Code of Virginia to require filing with the State Corporation Commission, effective January 1, 2020. Prior to amendment, such filing would be submitted to the clerk of the court in the locality where business was to be conducted. |
