Description of Proposed Guidance Document Changes
Changes to the Child and Family Services Manual Chapter C, Child Protective Services, are required to implement legislation passed during the 2023 and 2024 sessions of the Virginia General Assembly. Additionally, changes to the manual clarify existing guidance and enhance guidance on meeting the safety, permanency, and well-being of children and families.
