Description of Proposed Guidance Document Changes
The State Board of Local and Regional Jails has reviewed all guidance documents issued under its name and determined that many are outside of the purview of the Board and not applicable to the Board's duties or regulatory authority. The Board does not have regulatory authority over the Department of Corrections. The Board agreed these documents should be rescinded by unanimous vote on 3/16/2022.
