My name is Joyce Bumbray-graves I'm a member of SEIU 512. I have 2 relatives that live in my home. I definitely don't agree w not allowing parents to continue to care for their children. A lot of parents took the job as a caregiver during COVID and some already were employed as their child's caregiver. It doesn't make any sense in having a stranger doing a job that they can do and the parent knows more about their child and doesn't have to worry about taking time off for appts or anything else because they r already at home on top of the situation. Also sometimes it's hard to find a good caregiver for your child especially if your child has behavioral issues. I can go on and on but I hope u understand my concerns.
