Lri pay needs to be retroactive

We can’t find care for our children. You capped parents at 40 hours each in March , no matter how many kids are on the  waiver. So families with multiple waiver recipients had to either move each child under one parent as lri or take a huge pay cut. I’m a single parent. You took away more than half my income. You took away all my respite hours because I applied as lri. The law signed in July was supposed to allow single parents to bill 40 hours per waiver recipient. They are individuals with service plans and not a package deal. Now you are saying implementation in Jan? I can’t be unpaid for 10 months. It should be retroactive pay. Cms is Now advising you don’t even cap parents at 40 because you can’t meet service plans. I have medically complex kids. I’m exhausted by this program. Constant paperwork, undoing paperwork, meetings, advocacy and a lack of empathy by state.
