Our own Champs Elysees

Destroying the beautiful and inspiring artworks on Richmond's Monument Avenue is the equivalent of demolishing Paris' Avenue de Champs Elysees. Future generations will condemn you, just as we now condemn ISIS for destroying Palmyra. We will have no Thousand year old culture visible in this country because of the ignorant self-centered desire for some kind of accolades against manufactured outrage. Only the French and Russian Revolutions have done such destruction to their own countries, and they have been villified in history for it. That will be the eternity for the current Virginia government.
