I realize that as a Certified Residential Appraiser, I have a vested interest in wanting to keep the status quo.   We all know that everything comes down to money and cost.... but I do not believe that the CONSUMER is being considered in this equation.  They will, undoubtedly, pay more for a lesser product.  Technology is a TOOL but it is not a replacement for EDUCATED appraisers that SUBSCRIBE to competency and ethical standards AND MAINTAIN THE PUBLIC'S TRUST.
