We are in a segment of the real estate cycle (expansion stage drawing nearer to the peak) where greater emphasis should be placed on professionals doing professional work. Not an amalgamation of products and services pieced together. We find the lending side of the real estate market continually tries to streamline the process, which is fine; however, in an effort to make things faster, they are chipping away at the one profession that keeps the market honest: real estate appraisers. Appraisers are the only unbiased persons that make up a real estate transaction. Please consider not watering down this profession.
Sincerely,
Chris Stewart
