Hello,

As a 1st year counseling student and learning about the different ethical dilemmas that can occur within the field, conversion therapy seems to be an obvious violation of ethical practice to me. Banning this form of therapy, which has little to no ground with evidence based findings, would support the ACA code of ethics and internal oath to the counseling profession to "do no harm". I support this ban; regardless of my religious affilication, personal values, or political stance.
