Why would anyone even consider removing this work of art. I am from Texas and the only reason I came to Richmond in 2010 was to visit Monument  Avenue. Why would anyone in their right mind destroy history. You will kill your tourist industry if you continue to destroy history for history buffs such as me. Shameful that the city officials would even consider this.
