You can’t erase history!

You can’t erase history just because it hurts someone’s feelings!  I am proud of our VIRGINIA history and we should honor our men who fought for Virginia and what they believed at that time was right and good.  You can’t change history by taking down a statue.  When and if a decision is made on removing the Lee Monument, it should be the voted on by the people of VIRGINIA and NOT the mayor and city council, it’s the decision of All People!  The mayor has no right to tell me how I feel, and make decisions for me!  The Lee Monument must stay!  And if it bothers some persons then take another route to get downtown, or even better, move out of state.
