Monument Avenue

Please, do not remove the monuments from their current positions. Placing plaques near by that talk about the historical context of the monuments would be more cost effective and would allow people to learn about the history of Virginia. If we continue to hide the past, we will only repeat it. Monument Avenue is a beautiful street and bring in a lot of tourism. I am personally a resident of Monument Avenue and would really hate to see such a beautiful part of Richmond torn down because of political agendas.
