Monument Avenue should be left the way it is. It will retain it's Historical National Landmark designation which brings so many visitors to Richmond.  We have to be honest with ourselves, Slavery was horrible but it is part of Virginia.  We must own it and strive to make things better.  But taking down statues, un-naming schools, roads, etc  will not change our history.  But they will keep reminding us of the past and will remind us to do better in the future. Leave the Monuments alone!!.
