Yes to reducing emissions

We abssolutely have to reduce greenhouse gas emissions one way or another. Virginia lags behind it's neighbors of Maryland and North Carolina with regard to renewable energy, seemingly because the energy utilities have little interest in it, and wield undue influence over too many elected officials. We also need to increase regulation on methane emissions.

I support Virginia joining the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, and support Virginia reducing and capping carbon emissions with the action “Reduce and Cap Carbon Dioxide from Fossil Fuel Fired Electric Power Generating Facilities (Rev. C17)” as written.
