Abortion Clinic Regulations

Regulation and regular inspections of abortion clinics are essential for the health and safety of Virginia women and such regulations should be strengthened not weakened. The fact is that independent inspectors have repeatedly found and continue to find serious deficiencies in Virginia clinics, even during announced inspections. As with any other business, Abortion centers are incapable of self-regulation. Whether through drugs or by surgery, abortion is a serious procedure that puts a woman's health and life at risk. Abortion centers claim to provide healthcare and thus must adhere to the regulatory standards of other healthcare facilities. Women are tired of being treated in facilities that are not even on a par with the standards for veterinary clinics. Please continue and enhance the regulation of abortion clinics. I and other Virginia women deserve nothing less. Thank you for your time and consideration.
