CACREP has already harmed many veterans by collaborating with Tricare to prevent veterans' access to our most seasoned counselors who graduated before CACREP was even a thing. CACREP does not have the endorsement of most successful professionals in the field, and this is one more effort to restrict consumer options and prevent  practice by non-CACREP clinicians.

There is simply no evidence that CACREP accreditaion yields better counselors, and as stated, the nation's most experienced and capable counselors are shut out in this effort to empower CACREP.

This is a turf war, not a "best practices" issue....please don't be a chump!
