I support the ACA Portability Plan. I fear passing this plan will set a precident that will make it more difficult for master's level clinicians with the credits, classes, and experience for licensure to gain licensure in other states. This not only harms the field and those individuals who have worked hard for their training and expertise, but this also harms the public. With counseling shortages and the high need for mental health care, preventing qualified individuals from gainin licensure simply due to where they went to school rather than what it should be, the classes they took and whether they passed their licensing exam.
