Strongly recommend the Virginia Board of Health eleminate TRAP restrictions. The overall principles of TRAP appear to be based on religious ideology.  The women of the Commonwealth often become trapped by such pejorative procedures. Health procedures and regulations must be based on science and proven evidenced-based medicine.  I enjoin the Board to listen to medical professionals, supplemented by legal experts, when drafting these important and significant regulations. 

I believe that last thing a woman needs is a return to the days when she would be forced to seak the "help" of a back alley practioner.  Under any rational view of the world, that is not good medicine.  It does not support a healthy Virginia.  Thank you.
