This ammendment is sending the wrong message to the general public and to the dentists in our state. The practice of the different dental specialties is getting more sophisticated than ever. We need to mainitain the highest standards of service in our profession. By passing this amendment, we will lower the qualifications of the dental practitioners, and thus, we will bring the quality of service down. 

If this amendment goes through, I would not want to be associated with the Virginia Dental Association.  Many specilalists might not find any use for the Association. 

Don't lower the standards that assure best practices in our profession. Juan Loza
