As a small business owner at Ipsun Power, a renewable energy company incorporated in Fairfax, VA, I see every day the impact that distibuted, renewable energy resources have on our Virginia communities. Renewable energy creates more jobs than fossil fuels, provides clean pollution-free energy, and weans our citizens off of a dangerous dependence on monopolized, toxic, and resource-depleting forms of energy that threaten future generations. 

I strongly urge the 2018 Virginia Energy Plan to focus on moving to 100% renewable energy with the first and primary focus being a mandatory Renewable Portfolio Standard.
