I support distributed and rooftop solar, not limited to 1%

I am a Virginia homeowner, voter, and supporter of efficient, clean, economical power for all Virginians.

Please lift the current 1% limit on homeowner solar electric contribution to Virginia's electric production.

Please facilitate wind power increases, including in costal waters.

Please treat coal ash as the toxic environmental hazard that it is.

Please require mine owners and ash dump owners to contribute to a state trust fund sufficient to safely seal and remediate any abandoned or closed mines and ash dumps, even when the owner fails or did not save enough to safely close and remediate any such site or ancillary facilities.

Please reduce Virginia's abject acceptance of Dominion Energy (and subsidiaries) positions on energy and restore state control over monopoly pricing for regulated utilities.

Please act and regulate for the human citizens and voters of Virginia, not just for financial contributors to Virginia legislators.

Sincerely,

Robert Spiller

Penn Laird, Virginia
