Bring Virginia into a cleaner, healthier 21st century

Virginia needs to catch up-- and surpass its neighbors to the north and south who are doing much more to provide clean, sustainable energy to its citizens.  We must stop letting Dominion call the shots and stop their monopoly on the way we get and use energy.  The economic future is solar and wind.  The future for clean water, air and soil is to stop the extraction, refining, and use of fossil fuels.  The military knows this.  Physicians know this.  Other scientists know this.  The number of localities suing fossil fuel companies for obfuscating and manipulating facts about the devastation caused by continuing to use their products.  We count on our legislators to protect our environment.  No more drilling on or off shore.  No more use of coal.  No more dumping of coal ash and other dirty sludge to pollute our water and ground.  The fact that there is any argument about this is unimaginable.  Promote a carbon fee on all companies that cause carbon/methane/other poisons to be emitted; then give that money back to the consumers who have no alternatives and have to use the companies' products to earn a living and live in their homes.  We can create a revenue-neutral system that forces the producers and vendors of fossil fuel products to pay the cost of damages caused.

Please help Virginians, and help show other states what can be done.
