Please cut carbon pollution, for our children

I am a Virginia resident and I strongly support increased and strong regulations in Virginia that cut carbon pollution in power plants and allows Virginia to trade carbon allowances with other states.

Taking this action now will mean that we protect the safety of our current and future population and portect the public health of our citizens. It also means creating jobs in carbon neutral and energy efficiency sectors.

The time is now. Virginia does not want to be left behind. This means better, local jobs and keeping money here.

If we join with a coalition of other states with carbon caps, we can work to protect Virginians and others.  Carbon pollution is a global problem. I am concerned personally because I want my children to grow up with a health world to call home. I also want them to know they live in a state that is working hard to do that!
