A better Virginia

We must protect our beautiful state, and this is the first step in doing so. This regulation has the potential to be placed onto Ralph Northam’s legacy as Governor. As to becoming another state to cap its CO2 emissions, we take a stand against the current administration and combat climate change. I hope we set the stage for other states to follow.

I believe the base budget should be placed at 34 million tons as the industry will need to adjust the first year. However, this question tore me as I want to see our air and water become cleaner, but I do not want to cripple the economy. The cap and trade aspect will help big and small corporations in different ways all while they are building a relationship.?

After the year 2030 will they then create another regulation for the following decade based on the current climate?
