I have been a member of L'Arche Greater Washington, D.C. since 1983. I like to live with other core members (people with intellectual disabilities who come to be a core part of the community for the rest of their lives) AND assistants (community members who function as direct support professionals.) I have friends at 6th Street and Highland Houses (L'Arche GWDC associated in Arlington, VA) who should stay together.
