As a former court appointed health care guardian for a member of the L’Arche Greater Washington community and a longtime friend of the L’Arche community, I am convinced that the proposal to forbid supervisory persons to live in the group homes would destroy the sense of community and the loving and caring relationships that sustained my charge. L’Arche epitomizes the caring and love this world so desperately needs. Therefore, please eliminate the phrase: “who do not live in the home”.  over this text and enter your comments here.
