Please do not require that assistants to people living in group homes live elsewhere. The L'Arche community is an amazing place in which the assistants and people with disabilities live together. I have read about and admired this community for many years, and am thrilled that they are here in the DC area. This change would require them to move, and Virginia would lose one of the most uplifting, healing environments for people with intellectual disabilities.
