It is my understanding that the proposed redefinition of "Group Home" in the subject rules and regulations would have a negative impact on L'Arche of Greater Washington, DC.  I strongly support L'Arche as offering highly respected alternative housing for persons with intellectural disabilities, and I ask that you contact Luke Smith, Executive Director ( lukesmith@larche-gwdc.org ) for an alternative defnition that would not adversely impact L'Arche.
