This is to request the removal of the language that a group home must be staffed by those "who do not live in the home." This change would directly and negatively affect the standard of care provided by the L'Arche Community in Arlington.  L’Arche is the most highly regarded facility of its kind in Virginia, providing an unmatched standard of love and care for adults with intellectual disabilities.  This model is dependent upon live-in assistants. Please allow L'Arche to continue providing and inspiring love and dignity for adults with disabilities.
