The definition of a group home in Virginia should not be defined as those who live OUTSIDE the home providing supervision and care. This would adverselly impact group homes which follow a community model of assistance.  For example, the communities of  l’Arche that exist in Virginia and across the world where those who provide care and supervision live in the homes with disabled core members. There are other smaller, faith based group homes which also use a community model, This change would destroy the dynamic, positive living and growing arrangement of l’Arche homes and similar programs in Virginia.  Thank you.
