very simple, this is tax payer-maintained public property.  as it pertains to this issue, there is no fundamental difference between the wooded parks and public roads and right-of-ways.   there is certainly no less need for self defense in a secluded environment like this.   please remove this absurd exclusion to the concealed carry laws and allow the taxpayers to have at least an option to defend themselves in our parks.
