All handgun carry in state forests

Each of the state have laws governing carrying handguns and whatever state the state forest is in, should be aligned with those laws.

A law prohibiting the carrying of handguns in state forests will only stop those individuals who legally carry handguns and are not doing illegal things from carrying.  Everyone else who carries illegally will still continue to do so.  This will put law abiding citizens at a disadvantage and make it more difficult to defend ourselves.  In addition to that, there aren't normally a lot of people around in a lot of the state parks/forests.  Those are good opportunities for someone to attack someone if they wished to do so.  It is our right to carry the handguns and necessary to protect ourselves from people like that.
