I support this one hundred percent. Both my wife and myself have  permits and

feel that the more persons who carry legally the easier it is for the law enforcement community. I worked as a police officer for 30 years in New Jersey and know that law enforcement is unable to prevent crime , in most cases. It is our job to protect ourself. Further, how many crimes could be prevented by law abiding persons who have the right to carry. When you prevent persons to carry, only the law breaking community will have the ability to defend itself. WHY DO YOU THINK WASHINGTON D.C AND NYC HAVE LARGE CRIME RATES AGAINST TO CITIZENS INVOLVING FIREARMS. YOU DO NOT SEE THAT IN STATES THAT ALLOW PERSONS WITH PERMITS TO CARRY.
