Please enact the petition. I understand concerns of some citizens on lawful carry of firearms but lawful carry persons are not the criminals and thus, there should be no fear. It is the right and duty of citizens to consider their own method of self-protection be it what it may. Hunters are allowed in some of these parks and forest and so should lawful conceal carry holders, a proven element of safe and conscientious gun owners as well as those who open carry. While criminal attacks are not a everyday occurrence, we have seen brutal murders in some of our State Parks as well as some attacks. Gun owners are not the police and do not act as such but are only exercising their individual right to self-defense only under the most dire of circumstances. Please enact this petition.
