Addressing Climate Change in Virginia

As a scientist (retired), I have studied climate for many years, and, in fact, taught a course in meteorolog and climatology for some dozen years at two different universities. To me climate disruption by human activities is the most significant environmental issue of our day, The potential effects on Virginia and its coastal communities are in the realm of disastrous. There ae also many potential negative impacts to all of Virginia's citizens. I hope Virginia's government will promote renewable energy - wind and solar - while also working to stop the unnecessary fracked gas pipelines, and take part in this important process by submitting comments to DEQ in support of carbon reductions.
Sincerely, Michasel Bentley, EdD
