As a 5'1" woman who enjoys hiking, I would like to be able to lawfully carry a handgun while out on the trails.  Several years ago two women were killed while hiking in the mountains of VA.  If they had been carrying the outcome may have been much different.  Let law abiding citizens protect themselves from those who would attempt to do us harm.
