Yes, citizens should be allowed to carry handguns in Virginia State Forests.  Defense against violent attack by man or beast and U.S. Constitution 2d Amendment Rights are the most compelling reasons.  I cannot think of any good reason why citizens should not be permitted to carry handguns in Virginia State Forests.  Criminals will carry weapons in our state forests regardless of what our laws say.  Citizens should have the opportunity to carry weapons legally.
