I strongly urge the Department to draft a tough rule to reduce carbon emissions from power plants, in line with the governor's statements on this issue.  The health and safety of the communities in our state depend on environmental rulings that place public health and welfare as a top priority.  Reducing carbon emissions will have a significant positive impact on our environment--providing cleaner air to breathe!--and will also help to combat the adverse impacts of climate change.
